Eagerly waiting at the instance door
Hearts pumping and thumping in time
The raid invite flashes, the call goes out
Slicing and casting they yearn for the kill

They skillfully move and work with the tank
Consumables burning fast on this raid night
Eager and determined they navigate the turns
Their teamwork is potent and raid leader stern

As they push to the final boss the tension goes down
The members get up and go out on the town
The instance is empty except for a few
Still thinking and planning as well as they can

The server has turned over and the honor points have come up
And long ago somebody left with the loot,
But they’re thinking and planning and reading the strats
And thinking of beating that boss till it burns

They’re running the instance
They’re going for the kill
They’re all alone, all alone, all alone
In their time of PvE
