By Crackerjack (Originally, "American Pie", by Don McLean)
A long long time ago...
I can still remember
When those eles used to make me cry.
And I knew if I ever missed
laying that totem of fire resist
That we'd be on the floor for a while.
The grave run back back, it made me shiver.
The totem this time, I'd deliver
We would start or trash rounds
Someone loot the core hounds!
I can't remember every pull
I just remember it was very dull
But something got me deep in here (points to heart)
The day that MC got cleared.
So bye-bye, no more blues for this guy
Got my healy resto shammy
No more people will die.
Them good old guildies getting drunk on some rye
Singin "this'll be the day that i cry"
"Never be a day when I die"
Did you read the tranq shot book
And did you give the strat another look
'Cause the leader told you so.
Do you believe in Thunderaan
I saw his sword, now I want one!
So can you get the rare drops today!
Well, I know that you're in love with it
'Cause I saw you danicing with it equipped
But your not getting a thing
Cause Geddon blew us up again!
It was a lonely time rezzing all the guild.
Thank god I picked an improved ankh build
But I knew our pockets were filled
The day,MC was cleared.
and we were singin'
Bye-bye, no more blues for this guy
Got my healy resto shammy
No more people will die.
Them good old guildies getting drunk on some rye
Singin "this'll be the day that i cry"
"Never be a day when I die"
Now for 10 months we were on our own
No one ever heard of a meeting stone
But thats just the way it used to be.
When we cleared those lava packs to shazzrah
A circle we formed and pulled the boss on over
And a voice that came for you and me.
And while arcane pulses rang out like gongs
We all got on vent and sang our victory song
The sixth boss fell on down
His skin looked kind of brown.
And while leaders read about number seven
We rezzed our comrads back from heaven
For one mage it was death eleven.
The day MC was cleared.
Bye-bye, no more blues for this guy
Got my healy resto shammy
No more people will die.
Them good old guildies getting drunk on some rye
Singin "this'll be the day that i cry"
"Never be a day when I die"
So we ran on off to sulfuron
Each tank had a spot were he would run.
Targets eight feet tall, and falling fast.
They all landed together in one heap
Ran back to sulph for the loot to reap
With that same mage, on the sidelines, no spells cast.
Now the shardstrike will be sharded of course
And we found the T1 shoulder source
We all got up to dance.
But be never got the chance!
'Cause the leader stressed to make a push
Not to settle for this dancing mush
So we got off our collective tush
The day MC was cleared.
Bye-bye, no more blues for this guy
Got my healy resto shammy
No more people will die.
Them good old guildies getting drunk on some rye
Singin "this'll be the day that i cry"
"Never be a day when I die"
Oh and there we were all in one place.
We smoked golemaggs chump face
So we climbed up to major domo
So come on jack be nimble and jack be quick
Jack's mage sat on top of that candlestick
Battle rez him to get that elite controlled.
Oh and as I watched the first four elites go down
I thought, we could do this, settle down
No boss born in this hell
Could break my healing spell
And as Domo's last minion was beat
He ran back to admit defeat
We all thought we were pretty leet
Theboard day MC was cleared
Bye-bye, no more blues for this guy
Got my healy resto shammy
No more people will die.
Them good old guildies getting drunk on some rye
Singin "this'll be the day that i cry"
"Never be a day when I die"
We met ragnaros, hes hot and red.
He smoked major domo in the head.
And we were, all scared for our lives.
But our MT was brave and bold
This wiping repeat was getting old
So the mages started chucking frostbolts.
And in the sttreams some players swam
Then they jumped up to solid land.
Not a word was spoken.
That mages gear was broken.
And the tank that I admire most
Clashed sword and board, now raggy's toast.
Perditions blade goes to the rogue
The day MC was cleared.
Bye-bye, no more blues for this guy
Got my healy resto shammy
No more people will die.
Them good old guildies getting drunk on some rye
Singin "this'll be the day that i cry"
"Never be a day when I die"
